At St Mary’s we recognise that our Learner’s all have a variety of interests, gifts and talents. We continually aspire to nurture these attributes in our Learners and offer a variety of extracurricular activities at various times throughout the year. Below are a few of what is being offered in 2017;

Ukulele Lessons: Ukulele lessons are offered during a lunchtime to Year 4 - 6 Learners. All learners will who participate are required to purchase their own Ukulele. Mrs Elaine Keely facilitates these sessions.

Guitar Lessons:  Guitar lessons are offered during a lunchtime to Year 4 - 6 Learners. All learners will who participate are required to purchase their own guitar. Mrs Angie Jones facilitates these sessions.

Private Instrumental Lessons: Piano, clarinet and the saxophone lessons are available for Learners happy to cover additional private tuition. St Mary’s has a professional music teacher, Kate Dunstan come in and offers half hour sessions in the instrument of choice. There is limited spaces for this at any one given time. More information is available from the Principal in regard to this.

Seasons for Growth: Annually, the Seasons for Growth program is offered to learners from Year 1 and above. This program aims to make sense of any type of loss or grief that a Learner may have experienced. It is a group based program, connecting Learners with peers who may have expereinced similar losses.
